Hey Guys!
I really love this color combo, but need to find another way to wear it. Rose gold with Tiffany blue.... I tried to do a ruffian with Anise's Wildcat and China Glaze's For Audrey. Maybe Wildcat wasn't thick enough? I don't know....
Below is one coat of Wildcat.
I wasn't impressed with Wildcat's formula, it was actually kind of sticky and I kept pulling the paint off with my brush... goes on like a pastel. One stroke and leave it alone, can't go back over painted areas or else it just pulls off and clumps. Anyone tried anything from Anise? They're available at DSW shoe warehouse for $6 a bottle, but they are always BOGO 1/2 off. This is my first bottle from them.
You MUST CLICK ON THE VIDEO, before you leave, it is only 3 seconds long!
Hahahaha, I *love* Men On Film!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really pretty colour combo, Jenni Lee! Of course, For Audrey is pretty much always so gorgeous. Easily one of my top 10 polishes ever. I haven't tried anything from Anise before, but that does sound like a frustrating formula. Maybe it would work as a metallic french?
I'll try as a french and see. If it comes out good I'll post it otherwise I think you guys will be bored. Gay humor is almost always hilarious!
DeleteBahah, the video cracked me up! And while I like the look of Wildcat, it can be so frustrating when the second coat of polish pulls the first one off. But I do have to say that I like the ruffian manicure! What if you tried reversing the colour placement?
ReplyDelete:D it cracks me up too! I should reverse it! Thanks!
Deletegorgeous design! i love it ;)

Maybe you should try it the other way around? Anyhow it looks subtle and nice, I wouldn't say it's gone wrong! Maybe not exactly what you were expecting...
ReplyDeleteI will. I know, I expected better... it is about expectations. Thanks though! :)
