J: Jacob's Protection, Essence Twilight Series

Believe it or not, I only have three bottles of nail polish that start out with the letter J.  So this week is just a quick swatch of Jacob's Protection, from Essence Twilight Series.  JP is a black jelly polish with blue shimmer. The shimmer isn't very strong and looks black most of the time.  I have a bunch of these types of polishes, I should do a comparison post one day.  Anyhow here is two coats which were super easy to apply and dried pretty fast.


I got my bottle in a swap with the beautiful Criminal Nails.

    Darn!! I have this, I so should have used it and in fact when I had the forethought to plan out my manis I pulled this out to use!! Bummer, this looks so good on you, I need to pull this out now!!

    I actually have only one bottle of polish that starts with a J hahaha :P These look really nice on you! Although, I'm not such a fan of the "super dark almost black colors" that all look extremely similar haha

    I bought this but I am still unsure if I will swap it or put it in my collection! I am not so much into those blackened colours that actually look black most of the time!

    I bought all the four polishes from Twilight Collection but this is the only one I haven't tried yet. Anyway, it looks gorgeous in the bottle and on your nails too, I'm sure I'll like it! :)

    That one didn't look appealing enough to me to buy it, and now I am starting to regret it. In your pictures (beautiful as always) the blue shimmer is really visible, and it looks fantastic!
