Today's ABC challenge features Kinetic Candy from last year's Spring, Electropop collection. I wore this last year but I didn't take pictures of it. I was surprised to see that KC has a trace amount of grey in it, just a trace. The formula is fantastic, creamy, not chalky. There was no wait time between coats therefore really easy to work with.
Here's a simple swatch of two coats.
Then I added glitter. Santee's M89, Gift Sparkle, such a generic name.
And... a quick comparison.
Well that's it for now. I hope you enjoyed this post!
I love love love this color!! Especially with the glitter you added
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color! I hate colors like this on me but love them on other people, it looks amazing on you. The only one I have like that is China Glaze Sea Spray, and I like that it has a more grey-dusty color to it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of color, even if it doesn't look nice on my skintone. :(
ReplyDeleteThe glitter polish is absolutely lovely too. :)
The glitter and the blue really complement each other! Such a beautiful combo, you're a genius Jenni :D
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful color! I always love those blue/mint/Tiffany's type colors and this is no exception. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a creamy beautiful color. I really love how the layer of glitter polish looks over this!
ReplyDeleteI like that color too. But I LOVE the purple/red/gold glitter you topped it of with. Looks like Mardi Gras.
ReplyDeleteI I love that minted color, to me it's the best from the comparison you made ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy this polish, but I like the color very much.
ReplyDeleteI love the glitter and base color combo! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteKC looks so great on you! My skintone doesn't go well with those aqua-pastels colours. But I do love Sea Spray instead, since you compared it!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the Santee brand from?? That glitter is amazeballs!
I got Santee on eBay, it was in a pack of 5 glitters. It wasn't expensive. Thank you Simona!
DeleteKinetic Candy is one of the polishes I should wear more, it looks amazing on you! Love it! How's your bedroom doing? :p
ReplyDeleteMy bedroom is stuck... I don't know when it will get done. :(
Deletesuper post, Jennie! That color palette goes beautifully with your skin tone, and I'm loving the color comparisons.
ReplyDeleteI don't have Kinetic Candy, but from this post, I'm preferring it to the others.
And WOW re: the glitter. Gorgeous!
Wow! That really looks gorgeous with the glitter! Thanks for the comparison. I started wanting this polish immediately but I already have Factory Girl so maybe I can live without it ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are very close. KC formula is better than Factory girl though.
DeleteGreat comparison! I hadn't noticed the slight dustiness to Kinetic Candy until you pointed it out, and the comparison makes it easy to see.
ReplyDeleteThat polish looks great alone, but the glitter really sets it off!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful color and the glitter just adds so much, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the comparison! I really love the glitter combo, it looks so happy :D
