OPI - Stranger Tides

Hey guys!

I have an older polish to show you that I have been really enjoying this season.  Stranger Tides, a sage green from OPI, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spring 2011.  I love how soft and calm this color is.

Above is two coats, with top coat.  The formula is a bit thin, but workable. I just made sure the first coat was more on the dry side before applying the second coat.

I suffered a really bad nail break on my left hand, which is my more photogenic hand.  So you'll be seeing my right hand for a few more posts while my nail grows back out. *sighs*

Well, have a peaceful and relaxing weekend!

  1. I really like colors like these! I think companies should make more murky-but-pretty colors like this one!

  2. I saw this polish in a discount bin recently, and very nearly bought it. The only thing that held me back was the dramatic pignment separation at the bottom of the bottle. Like stark beige and dark rust brown. Crazy breakdown. Anyway, it's a gorgeous color. A true neutral.

Sorry about your nail. Gotta say, your shy hand a did fine job filling in for the ailing star.

  3. I've been looking through your blog for a while and I have to say I really enjoy it. Your swatches and nail art are fab and make me wish my nails would cooperate and grow but I also like your writing. The few causes you have shown support for in random posts are admirable and your accompanying youtube clips are always awesome. Basically...came for the nails, stayed for the cool blogger.

  4. I haven't worn this one in ages, and I really need to--it's so gorgeous! And speaking of ages, it's been such a long time since we heard from you...I hope everything's going well on your end, Jenni! ♥
