S: Skittle French

Hey guys!  For this week's ABC challenge for "S" I did a skittle French manicure.  Check out the various pastels with matching tips.

The polishes I used were:

Thumb: base: Revlon, Sunshine Sparkle
Tip: Revlon, Make Mine Mango

Index: base: China Glaze, Kinetic Candy
Tip: ChG, First Mate

Middle: base: ChG, Go Go Pink
Tip Kiko #362

Ring: base: ChG, Refresh Mint
Tip: Revlon, Posh

Pinky: base: Sinful Colors, Mauve
Tip: Cult Nails, Viscous

Of course you could replicate this with polishes of similar colors.  That 's it for today. Please check out other "S" manicures this week.

  3. I've always loved the way this looks, but haven't tried a skittles. It's a weird taboo of mine that I am slowly letting go - all your fingers are supposed to match. I'm OK with a couple accent nails (at least now I am- that took a while), so something like this is my next step.
    You're photos always look fantastic.

    1. I can totally see that. I prefer the uniformity of matching nails myself. It is very rare that I do a skittle and actually when I first did this mani I did not match the tip color to the base color and it look way to random and ugly so I started over again... so I agree there needs to be some uniformity and repetition, a little bit of order for the beauty to come out... Am I making any sense???

I did enjoy this mani though. Thanks for the compliment on the photo quality!
