Revlon 85 Minted - Beach Nails

Hey guys!  I'm back from my vacation.  Here are my nails while I was gone.  Two coats of Minted, a pastel sea foam green.  Nice formula from Revlon.  These are not the best pictures, they are from my cell phone.

This mani lasted Monday thru Thursday.

This mani lasted Thursday thru Sunday.
I did not pack any nail polish, so I picked up Revlon's Minted at CVS, along with their base coat, INM's out the door top coat, and a small trial size of Cutex nail polish remover.  The only item I brought from home was my Debra Lynn nail brush for clean ups.  It was almost like being at home.  I got through airport security with my nail polishes, with no problem.  I did not attempt to pack the acetone nail polish remover though.

I went to Fort Myers beach in southwest Florida. Still pretty hot down there; 91 degrees, sunny and humid. Ft. Myers is a wide beach, with white powdery sand.  The beach was very nice, not crowded, quiet.  Lots of seniors and folks from Germany.

Here's a rare picture of me with a bird begging for food.

What nail polish supplies do you pack when you leave town?

OH, BY THE WAY, Mel over at Glassflecked is having an awesome giveaway!  Baker Street plus and OPI gold topper.  You must go check out her blog!  Click here!

Jacqui at the Scholarly Nail also has a five prize giveaway!  Click here for that one.

    1. I originally wanted Re-fresh Mint from China Glaze, but this one killed that lemming. Thanks Michelle.

    1. :) It doesn't take much to get tan down there. The sun actually burned my lip! Thanks Sneakerette.

  4. We missed you Jenni!!! Whoa thats a very lovely mint color! I love it. :) It's so calm and refreshing--which I'm sure are two things we all want in our lives. :)

By the way, about coco water haha I think Pepsi Cola Philippines is geared towards marketing Philippine Cocowater internationally, although initial goal is to make it good locally first. We have so many coconut water here! hahaha I dont know the going rate now, but last I remember, one coconut (buko ) is a dollar? Less than even. Hope I can send you buko juice! haha

  5. Absolutely love the funky French! My nails are too stained to do that! Your vacation sounds like so much fun. I generally carry a small bottle of remover from Sephora in my hand luggage and have never had an issue with it. Oh and a little cleanup brush that I can't live without! :)

  6. Yay! So nice that you're back and so nice to see a piture of you! :D That funky french won my heart, and like the Manicurette... I can't wear them! My nails are currently kind of... greenish? I'm telling you, it's horrible! But yours look perfectly clean ^^

  7. Such a refreshingly pretty mint, and it looks great both ways! I am very jealous of your beach time. ;)

When I head out of town, if I'm only going for a couple of days, I just bring a bottle for touch-ups. If I'm going for longer I also pack some generic CVS remover wipes (like moist towelettes) that are just amazingly good. Wish I'd bought more when I was in the US!

  8. javascript is stuck!!!

@Kumi: You are so sweet! Seriously don't send liquids, it will break the bank. Powdered coconut drink... do they make that?

@Manicurette and CN: I was cutting up some grapefruit while my nails were bare and I think that whitened them.

@Elizabeth: I love those pre-packed nail polish removers. I'll try to remember that. Thanks.

    @Samantha: I'll stop by!
